- At least 2 days prior, verify:
- Completion of PDI and installation of accessories.
- At least 1 day prior, contact your customer to:
- Confirm appointment date/time.
- Remind key dealership personnel of delivery date/time.
- If a long delivery time is anticipated, regularly update customer on status of vehicle. Celebrate key milestones!
- At least 2 days prior, verify:
- Completion of PDI and installation of accessories.
- Vehicle is clean and free of damage.
- Vehicle fuelling and/or battery charging.
- Document accuracy.
- At least 1 day prior, contact your customer to:
- Confirm appointment date/time.
- Explain delivery typically takes 60 to 90 minutes, potentially longer for first-time EV buyers.
- Confirm details of customer’s trade-in.
- Remind customer to bring necessary documents.
- Send customer a vehicle photo/video to build excitement!
- If possible, schedule and note date/time of customer’s first service appointment.
- Logically organize documents and delivery items.
- Schedule enough time to perform a thorough, comfortably paced vehicle delivery.
- Remind key dealership personnel of delivery date/time.
